Oxley Weekend 2-4 October 2009

To all those driving at the Benalla Club's multi-activity weekend please remember to bring your medical armbands.

The weekend's agenda is starting to take shape. Remember it is a weekend of learning practice and socialising.
Lessons with Mike Thill start after lunch on Friday. There is still space to book lessons for Saturday but don't leave it to the last minute, or be disappointed.

Friday night there is a free sausage sizzle at the clubhouse.

Saturday you can practice dressage tests and get a personal score from Alison Graves or Virginia Jones. Two arenas will be set up although one is likely to be used by Mike for lessons.
Saturday between 10am-12pm practice cones with Jack Wind and Jim Adams keeping times for those that want them. The cones course will be open all other times. A steward should be in attendance. There will be a cones comp in the afternoon after 2pm for those who wish to indulge.

Two Marathon obstacles will be set up to help folks warm up for the season ahead.

There will also be an area set aside for plank and carpet practice to get yourselves and horses use to sharp turns and crossing water.

Saturday night there is a catered dinner at the club house followed by some fun and frivolity.

Sunday there will be a navigation drive for folks to get lost (only joking) and sample the sunny lanes of Oxley.

Jack
