The club's multi-activity weekend went really well thanks to both the organisers and participants.
There were 15 carriages for the weekend and 37 people for Saturday Night dinner.
The event was held under overcast skies with some light but nuisance rain at times.
Alison Graves and Virginia Jones were kept busy helping people with their scores for practice tests on the newly laid dressage arena.
Jack Wind, Jim Adams and Jill Cawsey were also busy keeping times and the cones course in shape for over 30 timed runs and more untimed practice runs.
A number of the drivers and their teams had fun with the navigation drive on Sunday.
Importantly those that took lessons with Mike Thill found it a great experience. Being a man who loved his time working with the Carlton Draught Clydesdale team, Mike was also very happy to work with a number of people who brought their Clydesdale crosses for some lessons.
Fishermen were also able to catch a carp in the rising waters of the King River. Not as good as a Murray Cod (but they're out of season anyway).
A great weekend had by all.
I hope to post some photos of the event within the next week.
Cheers
Jack
